doctor letterhead maker
Make your own doctor letterhead and print it from your clinic
No more ordering pads from the printer, and no reprint when your phone number or address changes. Set up your letterhead once in Settings › Print layout, watch it change as you go, and print your OPD parchi on plain A4 or A5 paper. Printing is open to registered doctors whose certificate our team has checked. It comes with the UpcharHub plan: a week free, then ₹399 ₹99/month.

Set up your letterhead, signature and text size
Five styles, your logo, A4 or A5
Pick a letterhead style: Classic, or Bold in teal, maroon, navy or black. On a black-and-white printer the colour prints grey. Put the header on the left, centre or right. Print on A4 or A5 (A5 is always portrait). Upload your clinic logo as a PNG, JPEG or WebP under 10 MB and it sits to the left of the clinic name. More on that in putting a clinic logo on your prescription. You can also change the size of the clinic name, your name and the logo, and make the medicine table text bigger, up to Extra large.
What goes on the header and under your signature
The header carries your clinic name, your name and degree, your registration number and the address. Under your signature you choose any of: name, qualification, registration number, clinic motto. Dose words for the patient, like सुबह – शाम, print next to each dose in the language you pick. See what else a prescription pad format in India should have.
Still have printed pads? Use them up
Tick "I print on my own letterhead". The app leaves 2 to 6 cm blank at the top and skips the header, so the notes land below your printed one. When the pads run out, untick it.
Already have a printed letterhead? Use a photo of it
Photograph an unused printed letterhead page. The header and footer are cropped from it and printed full width on every prescription. The original photo is never stored, only the two crops. If our check spots patient writing on the photo, it is refused and nothing is stored. Always use an unused page. A "Stop using my printed letterhead" button switches back.
Only for registered doctors, and part of the whole clinic app
Before you can print or share a prescription, you upload your registration certificate and our team checks it. We check the certificate itself; we don't look the number up with a medical council. Your letterhead sits in the same app as your patient records and visits, our free clinic management software, at no extra charge.
Questions
Answered plainly.
Can I use my existing printed prescription pad?
Yes. In Settings › Print layout, tick "I print on my own letterhead". It leaves 2–6 cm blank at the top and prints no header, so the visit note lands below your printed clinic header.
Does the letterhead print in colour?
Yes, on a colour printer. Classic and the four Bold styles (teal, maroon, navy, black) all print grey on black-and-white.
Can I print on A4 or A5 paper?
Both. A5 is always portrait. You can also put the header left, centre or right, and set the medicine text from Small to Extra large.
Can I add my clinic logo to the letterhead?
Yes. Under "Clinic logo" in Settings › Print layout, upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP file under 10 MB. It prints to the left of your clinic name.
Who can print or share prescriptions?
Only registered doctors. Upload your registration certificate and our team verifies it before printing is allowed. We review the certificate; we do not check the registration number against a medical council.
Can I make my letterhead from a photo of my printed pad?
Yes. Photograph an unused page. The header and footer are cropped from it and printed full width on every prescription. The original photo is never stored, only the two crops.
What if the photo shows patient handwriting?
If our check spots it, the photo is refused and nothing is stored. Use an unused page.
Does UpcharHub create prescriptions or sell medicines?
No. UpcharHub is practice-management software for registered medical practitioners. It does not create or issue prescriptions for patients, and it does not sell, stock or dispense any medicine. A doctor writes up their own visit and prints an unsigned draft, which becomes a valid prescription only after that treating doctor signs it. No patient can sign up for UpcharHub or ask it for anything: the only things that ever reach a patient are a copy of what their own doctor wrote and chose to send them, and a reminder of the follow-up date that doctor set.
Is the doctor letterhead maker free?
The letterhead maker is included in the UpcharHub plan with no extra charge. Every clinic signing up gets a week free with no credit card, then ₹399 ₹99/month.
