How the export works
Open Reports and tap "Export all my data". The export runs in the background, so you can close the page or sign in on another device. Reports shows how far it has got and roughly how long is left. Once it is ready, the download stays for 30 days and is then deleted.
What you get in the zip
Every type of record comes in two forms, CSV that opens in Excel and JSON. That covers patient profiles and every visit, with complaints, vitals, diagnoses, medicines, advice, investigations, follow-ups and private notes. It also covers receipts, invoices and payments, day-care admissions, charts and bills, lab results, dispensary stock and sales, and your own settings. Your original patient files, the photos and PDFs, are in there too. A short list tells you how many records of each type you have, and a README in English and Hindi explains the folders. Another doctor's data is never included.
Who can export, and how often
Only the doctor who owns the account can export. Staff cannot. It is free, and it works even after your subscription lapses. You can export once every 30 days. If you need another one sooner, our support team can give you a one-time code.

Can I export my clinic data if my subscription has lapsed?
Yes. Even after your subscription lapses, you can sign in, open Reports and download a full export for free.
Can my front-desk staff export the clinic's records?
No. Only the doctor who owns the account can export.
Is the export download instant?
No. The zip is built in the background after you tap "Export all my data" in Reports. You can close the page while it runs. Reports shows how far it has got and roughly how long is left.
How often can I export my data, and how long is the file kept?
Once every 30 days. If you need another sooner, our support team can give you a one-time code. The download stays for 30 days, then it is deleted.
What format are the exported patient records in?
Every record type comes as CSV, which opens in Excel, and JSON. Your original photos and PDFs are included as they were uploaded, along with a count of each record type and a README in English and Hindi.
Does UpcharHub issue prescriptions or sell medicines to patients?
No. UpcharHub is practice-management software for registered medical practitioners. It does not create or issue prescriptions for patients, and it does not sell, stock or dispense any medicine. A doctor writes up their own visit and prints an unsigned draft, which becomes a valid prescription only after that treating doctor signs it. No patient can sign up for UpcharHub or ask it for anything: the only things that ever reach a patient are a copy of what their own doctor wrote and chose to send them, and a reminder of the follow-up date that doctor set.
